A few words about
Mathan Manor
The Manoir de Mathan in Crépon (Arromanches/Bayeux/Courseulles) was built in the 17th century by the Hue de Mathan family. A beautiful architectural ensemble built around a square courtyard typical of the Bessin region, it comprises a main building (formerly the lord's residence) and outbuildings surrounding the courtyard, now renovated to house guest rooms and a breakfast room.
This former "Farm - Manor" is surrounded by a large wooded park with its small pond, the old bakery has been preserved, and meadows offering guests a peaceful place to relax, just a stone's throw from the sea!
