Mathan's mansion
The Mathan manor in Crépon (Arromanches/ Bayeux/ Raceulles) was built in the 18th century by the Hue family from Mathan to Crépon. Very beautiful architectural ensemble around a typical square courtyard of the Bessin comprising a main building (formerly a seigniorial building) and the outbuildings around the courtyard today renovated to accommodate rooms and the breakfast room.
This old "farm - manor" is surrounded by a large wooded park accompanied by its small pond as well as the old bakery preserved, and meadows offering the hosts a peaceful place where it is good to rest there, a stone's throw from the sea!
