The hotel is 5 km away from the seaside : bring your
fishing net to collect cockles on the Cote de Nacre. The hotel’s restaurant
proposes a number of specialities from this famous coast.
Remember to bring a towel for an escapade to Ouistreham with it’s small
cabins and it’s kite-surf when the wind rises.
Don’t forget your wellingtons when going for a
stroll at Port-en-Bessin, where you can enjoy a guided visit to the port
and to the foreshore (underwater rocks that are uncovered at low tide), with
cockles and sea anemones.
The Roman de Renart was written in the Bessin in the
12th century : near the hotel restaurant several long-distance hiking tracks
invite you to discover Normandy and it’s secrets.
Located not far from the Natural Regional Park of Cotentin
and Bessin, the hotel and it’s restaurant are a welcome rest after
a day’s hiking and discovery of the birds, flowers and landscapes of
the Bessin. The marshes of the Cotentin region can also be visited by boat.
